Turkey tracks are often spotted on Libby Hill but in my many trips on the trails I haven't seen any of the actual birds until this past week. Up near the top of Libby Hill I saw in the trail a flashing movement ahead. I looked into the hollow to the left and saw a turkey head looking back at me as it trotted down slope from me. I tried to get close enough to photograph it but alas these birds run very fast. They seem very wary of humans (maybe because it is currently hunting season for them!).
